Terms of Service
These terms describe how Starting Index access, subscriber materials, API usage, billing, and service availability are handled.
Starting Index publishes model research, performance records, allocations, reports, and related tools. It does not provide services as a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, custodian, or trade execution provider, and it does not make individualized recommendations based on a subscriber's full financial situation.
Use of the Service
Starting Index publishes model research, portfolio signals, performance records, reports, and related data tools. Access may be public, trial-based, subscriber-only, or commercially licensed depending on the plan and endpoint.
You are responsible for deciding whether any model output is appropriate for your objectives, financial situation, risk tolerance, account type, tax status, and trading constraints.
Accounts and Access
Subscriber access is tied to the authenticated identity and plan status on record. API keys, subscriber pages, reports, and private model data are intended only for the authorized account holder unless a commercial agreement explicitly allows redistribution.
Starting Index may suspend access for misuse, credential sharing, abuse of API endpoints, payment failure, or activity that creates operational or legal risk.
Availability and Changes
Model data, reports, and endpoints may change as the product matures. Public and subscriber pages are informational services, not guaranteed execution systems or broker-dealer infrastructure.
The service may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, hosting issues, or publishing delays.
Trial, Cancellation, and Refunds
Starting Index may offer free trials, founding-period access, or promotional access at its discretion. Trial and promotional terms are shown at the time of signup and may differ by plan.
Paid subscriptions renew according to the billing cycle selected at checkout unless canceled before renewal. Subscribers can manage eligible paid subscriptions through the account billing portal or by contacting support.
Fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law, where the checkout terms expressly state otherwise, or where Starting Index approves a refund in its discretion. Enterprise or custom commercial agreements may include separate cancellation, renewal, API, redistribution, and refund terms.
